Let’s get together to pack the medicine bottles that our wonderful parishioners donated to send to Africa, and while we are at it let’s talk about the Sacrament, Anointing of the Sick. Why? Because the youth are not just the future of the Catholic Church, they’re here now!
We are continuing to collect empty prescription medicine bottles (labels removed) for the people of Africa through October 15th. They often only have a piece of paper to keep their valuable medicine in. Please place bottles in the designated bins in the Narthex. Thank you for your help!
PLEASE HELP BY DONATING YOUR EMPTY PRESCRIPTION BOTTLES, LABELS REMOVED. THESE ARE ITEMS WE TAKE FOR GRANTED AND THROW AWAY SINCE THEY CANNOT BE RECYCLED. DONATING THEM WOULD HELP MANY OF OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN AFRICA KEEP THEIR MEDICINES SAFE, AND KEEP OUR LITTLE CHILDREN SAFE. THANK YOU, AND GOD BLESS.

On Friday, September 9th the Feast day of St. Peter Claver, the CIA teens and their
families came together to celebrate mass with a special intention for Ben Robledo.
Father Soane asked for us to pray for Ben on his vocation: his military career, and
for his safe return. We then went to Leatherby’s to continue the celebration with
ice cream, fun and friendship. Thank you to Father Soane, for celebrating mass, and
for acknowledging Ben on his service to the parish. Thank you to Michelle Pratt and
Debbie Kemper for being wonderful chaperones.

PLEASE HELP OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN AFRICA BY DONATING A EMPTY, AND PEELED LABEL MEDICINE BOTTLE. SUCH A SIMPLE ACT OF KINDNESS CAN GO VERY FAR IF MOST OF US DONATED JUST ONE EMPTY, PEELED MEDICINE BOTTLE TO SEND TO THEM. THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS!
