SHOEBOXES OF JOY-YEAR OF MERCY
During the Jubilee Year of Mercy, the Holy Father, Pope Francis, and our own Bishop Jaime Soto invite all Catholics in the Diocese of Sacramento to celebrate the 24 hours for the Lord!
Our Lady of Guadalupe Ministry invites you to celebrate mass in Spanish on Sunday, March 12 at 5:30pm. There will be fellowship following mass. Everyone is welcome! We await you with open arms. “Am I not here, I, who am your Mother?”
Jesus Christ, St. John Paul II, St. Faustina, our Blessed Mother – all are Love personified – the very reflection of God’s merciful love and perfect examples of living merciful acts of prayer, words and works. We, made in His likeness, are capable of trusting in Jesus and forgiving trespasses of those next to us.
During the Jubilee Year of Mercy, the Holy Father, Pope Francis, and our own Bishop Jaime Soto invite all Catholics in the Diocese of Sacramento to celebrate the 24 hours for the Lord. For 24 straight hours from Friday, March 4, 2016, at Noon until Saturday, March 5, 2016, at Noon, the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered continuously here at Divine Mercy and several other parishes throughout the Diocese including our three Newman Centers.
The program, which is tailored to boys ages 12 to 15 and their dads, explores God’s special gift of human fertility and the beauty and wonder of God’s plan for growing up and becoming a man. All content is pure, light-hearted and affirming.
