THE YOUNG MESSIAH

Some of us were raised on movies such as
Ben-Hur, The Ten Commandments, The
Robe, The Greatest Story Ever Told, and
others more recent with The Passion of the
Christ. Now, there is another movie that will
be added to the list. It’s called THE YOUNG MESSIAH.

Beloved is a Young Adult Ministry at Divine Mercy Catholic Church for young adults between 18-39

Beloved is a Young Adult Ministry at Divine Mercy Catholic Church for young adults between 18-39. Our mission is to provide a safe place where young adults can come together to grow in faith and friendship; to encourage and support young adults to explore their faith and develop their spirituality by catering to the needs and issues of each individual through faith sharing, community service, and fellowship.

Divine Mercy has a Youth Mass which is held on the first Sunday of the month at 5:00pm. This Mass is when our youth actively participate in the liturgy. The CIA, (Catholics in Action youth group) Squires, and Beloved (Young Adults) rotate in leading the monthly Mass. Each group is an active member in the parish and has their own set of trained lectors, ushers and altar servers. They are involved as a musician, a member of the choir, and Eucharistic Minister. They assist in bringing up the Offertory and help pass out the weekly bulletins. After Mass, they gather for fellowship where all are invited to bring something to share and break bread. They join together for Family Adoration time, where they may hear a reflection or just sit in silence listening to what Jesus is telling them. The NEXT Youth Mass will be held on Sunday, March 6th. ALL are invited.
